Summer Yoga & Meditation Retreat

I’m excited to share the details of my in-person Summer Yoga & Meditation Retreat with you!


After careful consideration of a few different venues, I’ve decided to run the event in a cozy barn in the middle of nowhere in rural Essex, near Maldon. The venue is surrounded by fields and its tranquil environment is a perfect place for the body and mind to fully restore and relax.  


The barn has a spacious room for yoga, as well as a kitchen area, toilet and reading room. The spacious fields and reading room will give you privacy and quiet time, whilst in the kitchen area you will be able to connect with fellow students. 


The retreat will include physical practice where you will be able to challenge your body and your balance, as well as a slower and gentler restorative yoga and meditation practice. It's a perfect combination, allowing you to both exercise and then relax. You will leave restored and rejuvenated.


Summer Yoga & Meditation Retreat

Whe​n: Sunday, August 1, 2021, 10 a.m-5:30 p.m.

Where: Near Maldon, Essex (the exact location will be confirmed upon booking)

What: Strong beginner/intermediate vinyasa flow, breathwork & meditation, mindful walking, restorative yoga, yoga nidra

Who is it for: Students with previous yoga experience looking for both active practice as well as meditation and relaxation. If you’ve been attending my Beginner’s class on Monday and/or my Thursday Intermediate Vinyasa Flow on Thursday over Zoom you can expect a similar level and pace. This event is not suitable for pregnant ladies, complete beginners or people with severe health conditions. 

What's included: Full schedule taught by Martyna, snacks and refreshments, parking on site


What's excluded: Transport, lunch, equipment (mats, blocks etc)

Price: £110 per person, early bird £99 - only 5 tickets available at that price 



10:00-10:30:  Arrivals/Welcome 


10:30-11:00: Opening 


11:00-12:30: Strong beginner/Intermediate Vinyasa Practice 


12:30-13:30: Lunch

13:30-14:00: Breathwork & meditation 


14:00-14:30: Mindful Walking 


14:30-15:00: Tea Break: herbal teas and healthy snacks provided 


15:00-16:20: Restorative Yoga

16:30-17:00: Yoga Nidra (deep guided relaxation)


17:00-17:30:  Tea & finish

Please note that due to the small size of the venue, social distancing won’t be possible. Only come to the event if you’re fully comfortable being with others in close proximity - please also note that this lack of social distancing is forecast to be permitted by this point! If COVID-19 restrictions prevent us from running the event, a full amount will be refunded within 28 days of the cancellation date or exchange will be offered if there’s another event scheduled in the near future.
